Puppy Love - Include Your Dog In Your Wedding Day | B&E Lucky In Love Blog

Puppy Love - Including Dogs in Your Wedding

Dogs are known as "man's best friend" so why not include them in your wedding? After all, you invite your closest friends and family, so shouldn't your loyal pup be there, too? Seeing your ring bearer walk down the aisle is one of the cutest moments of your big day, but imagine your four-legged friend doing it, too! Or perhaps they can just stand next to you at the altar! Either way, your guests will love it!

It may take a little extra planning and may cause some unexpected moments, but it will create a memory you'll have forever!

These adorable photos show just how cute it is to "show some puppy love" on your big day.

Elegant, Traditional with Vibrant Colors Seattle Wedding

Brenda and Daniel’s purple wedding held in Seattle’s iconic private club, the Rainer Club, is full of elegance and vibrancy. Their purple, pink and gold color scheme is captured throughout the day in elements from the groomsmen’s lavender shirts, to the gold chocolates that adored each place setting. Enjoy photos from Momentous Image who captured their special day.

From the Wedding Planner, Alyssa Hoffman, AlexisMarie Events: Brenda and Daniel selected the Rainer Club because of the elegant, formal and classic feel. Since neither of their families had ever attended a traditional western culture wedding they wanted it to be a very traditional. They were not only coming together as husband and wife but they were uniting two families and two cultures. This group didn't let language get in the way of enjoying a fun and festive evening celebrating the marriage of an amazing couple, they danced, laughed and toasted the night away. Brenda and Daniel asked me to design a "Elegant and formal wedding with bright colors", so we designed a vibrant and colorful wedding using bright purples, pinks, reds, and gold. Mixing these vibrant colors with a traditional feel is not what you would typically see however the bride loved the idea of bold and bright colors. Pairing the colors and "bling" with the rich and semi-masculine feel of the Rainer Club made the feel of this wedding a home run.

From the Bride, Brenda: Daniel and I wanted our wedding to be elegant and fun. We wanted our guests to share our love and happiness with a tasteful wedding. After looking at more than ten different wedding venues, Daniel and I fell in love with the Rainier Club because of its amazing architecture, elegance and charm. I knew I wanted cheerful colors incorporated, pink, red and purple. Somehow, the gold color came along and blended perfectly with the rest of the colors. The wedding came out spectacular thanks to the work of our wonderful Wedding Coordinator, Alyssa Hoffman and the other vendors. Miguel Cornelio, our Photographer, did an amazing job capturing those moments. The day that Daniel and I met, we connected immediately. Both, living in the US for several years and coming from different cultures, had several differences but the more we got to know each other, the more we realized how similar we thought. I married my best friend and I am excited to experience new adventures together.

Helpful Hints on How to be a Glowing Bride!

Feeling confident on your wedding day and looking you're very best will make you truly feel like the belle of the ball. After all when you look good, you feel good! Here are a few Helpful Hints on how to get yourself looking and feeling amazing!

Eat right and get enough sleep: It gets very hectic prior to the wedding with all the planning and parties. Be sure to take care of yourself! Eat right and get enough sleep. You'll need every ounce of energy. And, of course, you want to look your very best on this special day.

Pamper yourself: A couple of weeks before the wedding, take time to pamper yourself. Schedule a massage to relieve tension and stress. A facial is wonderful for your skin, but be sure to allow some time for your face to benefit from it. Avoid using unfamiliar products too close to the wedding, in case your skin has an allergic reaction to them. Prepare your hands and nails with a manicure. A pedicure will do wonders for your feet and toes for the honeymoon.

Hair consultation: When you have selected your headpiece, make an appointment for a consultation with your hairdresser. This allows time to experiment with different hairstyles that complement your face and work well with the headpiece. This way there are no "surprise" hairstyles the morning of your wedding. You and your hairdresser should agree on the style and look you want well in advance. Also make sure your hairstyle will look as beautiful without the headpiece.

Makeup consultation: A makeup consultation can help you apply makeup in a natural and flattering way that will highlight your best features. The photographer may ask for a heavier application for the photos. Ask the consultant how the best look can be obtained without overdoing it.

Bridesmaid lunch and manicure: A fun idea is to take your bridesmaids to lunch and then treat them to a manicure. This usually takes place a day or two before the wedding, or sometimes is scheduled the morning of the wedding. For parties of three or more, it is best to schedule an appointment at least three months in advance.

On-site beauty service: Many salons and beauty consultants offer hairstyling and makeup for you and your bridesmaids at the ceremony site for a fee according to services, number of people, and travel time.
