Foliage and Fern Green Wedding Bouquets that don't say "Holiday" | B&E Lucky in Love Blog

Green Bouquets

Foliage and Fern Green Wedding Bouquets that don't say "Holiday" are this month's December bridal bouquet feature. Green bridal bouquets abound during the winter season, and nothing beats the smell of fresh cut pine, but this fresh and earthy color works with any season. There are dozens of blooms to choose from that have a green hue, including carnations, chrysanthemums, roes, hellebores, orchids, day lilies, gladiolus and hydrangeas, but the trend of using "filler" foliages and blooms as the main focus of your bridal bouquet or wedding centerpieces is something to embrace! Think ferns, eucalyptus, succulents, jasmine vine, kale, herbs, and air plants for a truly Pacific Northwest feel that doesn't say "Happy Holidays".

Orange Bridal Bouquets | B&E Lucky in Love Blog

Fall Wedding Bouquets Inspired by the Color Orange

Vibrant, rustic, wild, textured, or subtle orange bridal bouquets are perfect for any season but we particularly love seeing this charismatic hue used in Fall weddings. Perhaps it's from all the beautiful pumpkins we see popping up around town but we couldn't think of a better color for a bridal bouquet board this month than Orange. For Autumn bouquets poppies, dahlias, tea roses, garden roses, berries, ranunculus, sunflowers, and alstroemeria are abundant.  Summer and Springtime orange flowers include gerber daisies, tulips and gladiolus.

Purple Wedding Bouquets | Lucky in Love Blog

Nosegay, Hand tied and Round Purple Bridal Bouquets

Purple Wedding Bouquets are a summertime favorite. Here in the Pacific NW gardens are overflowing with an abundance of hydrangeas ranging from lavender to deep plum. Purple flowers represent dignity, charm, grace, elegance, and refinement. Tonal, ombre’, or bold ranges of this rich hue, we love the romantic impression purple wedding bouquets create.

Ravishing Red Wedding Bouquets

"Painting the roses red" - the Queen of Hearts was onto something.  Taking inspiration from the good ole American Flag, this month we're highlighting red bridal bouquets.

Red is a passionate, energizing, warm color that radiates strong and powerful masculine energy. The color red also has a long tradition of significance in weddings. In China & Japan, red is the color of luck and happiness. In Indian cultures the color symbolizes purity. Red is also one of the most popular colors used on flags in the world. Approximately 77% of all flags include red. Red also happens to be one of the top two favorite colors of people.

Will you be featuring this ravishing hue in your wedding?
